UM MY18 SLi Wagon 7st 5dr Spts Auto 8sp 3.5i Kia's updated third-generation seven-seat Sorento SUV arrived in 2017, bringing improvements in safety, comfort, technology and driveability. Autonomous emergency braking, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity, a larger 8.0-inch infotainment screen, adaptive cruise control and lane-keep assist are now standard. Significantly the Sorento gets a new eight-speed auto transmission and an increased-capacity V6 engine that goes from 3.3 to 3.5 litres to produce a solid 206kW/336Nm and make the best of a reworked suspension. The 2.2-litre diesel remains at 147kW/441Nm. The interior has been revised too, with a new steering wheel and instrument cluster, plus wide-ranging refinements covering trim quality and climate-control functionality.
