ASE30R IS300 Luxury Sedan 4dr Spts Auto 8sp 2.0T The new Lexus IS sedan issues a fresh challenge to the mid-size luxury segment. With its edgy styling and a carry-over choice of three drivetrains " a 180kW/350Nm 2.0-lutre turbo, a 3, 5-litre V6 with 232kW/380Nm and a 164kW 2.5-litre hybrid " the rear-drive Lexus IS comes in five trim levels: Base, 300 Luxury, 300h Luxury, 300h F Sport and 350 F Sport. Aimed at a sportier persona, the new IS Lexus is lighter than before and gets a revised suspension with wider tracks front and rear, while both 2.0-litre and 3.5-litre conventional engines get an improved eight-speed auto gearbox. It's plusher inside too, with excellent seats and meticulous presentation.
