Overview
The CX5 gets a few model-wide enhancements in the form of a rear vision camera and an engine idle stop-start system. There's also a new six-speeed auto, tuned to maximise fuel economy, as a part of the SKYACTIV program. There are 2x4 and 4x4 options, with the 4x4 akin to Subaru's approach as in there are no real down and dirty capabilities here. It's certainly a boon when the road gets slippery and for unsealed surfaces. Then there's the spacious interior with its clever multi-adjustments for the ever-changing passenger/luggage equation.Safety is high range-wide, with five ANCAP stars.
