Coupe 2dr SSG 7sp 3.8TT Available in coupe and aluminium-hardtop "convertible" Spider form, McLaren's dihedral-doored 570S mid-engine hypercar gets its superlative performance from a 419kW/600Nm twin-turbo 3.8-litre V8 engine located behind the driver and driving the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. There are three distinct performance modes covering Normal, Sport and Track, which allow selection of the characteristics to suit the driver's mood " although the ride quality, regardless of the chosen setting, never becomes uncomfortable which is impressive in a car capable of covering the 400 -metre sprint in just 11.0sec. Equipment is hypercar basic: dual-zone climate control, manually-adjusted seats, leather trim, self-dipping rear-view mirror and a heated rear window.
