C253 AMG S Coupe 5dr SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9sp 4MATIC+ 4.0TT GLC, in Mercedes-Benz terms, equates to a C-Class based SUV. The mid-sizer comes in two forms: The regular, practical SUV wagon and the sportier, low-slung "coupe". Underpinnings are shared by both: There are six engine options "125Kw/400Nm and 150kW/500Nm 2.1-litre turbo-diesels, a 155kW/350Nm 2.0-litre turbo-petrol, a 190kW/620Nm 3.0-litre V6 turbo-diesel, the muscular 270kW/520Nm 3.0-litre turbo-petrol V6 AMG GLC 43 and the hefty 375kW/700Nm GLC 63 AMG. Not an off-roader, the all-AWD GLC is nevertheless capable in a wide range of conditions and brings, in wagon variants, a 2.5-tonne braked towing capacity as well as a big 550-litre boot (500 litres for the coupe).
