SAS2 MY18 Core Wagon 5dr DCT 7sp 2WD 1.5T MG's GS finds itself in the thick of the mid-size SUV class, competing with Mazda CX-5, Hyundai Tucson and Nissan X-Trail. In terms of style, equipment and functionality it measures up. The Chinese-built SUV offers two turbo-petrol engines: a 119kW/250Nm 1.5-litre and a 162kW/350Nm 2.0-litre, delivering power (respectively through 7sp/6sp dual-clutch transmissions) to the front wheels or on-demand AWD. The nicely presented cabin offers comfortable seating in each of the three available variants. There's a solid 483 litres of luggage space, opening up to 1330 litres with the split-fold rear seats laid flat. The seven-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty is one of the best in the business.
