Overview
Mitsubishi joined the small SUV mainstream with the latest ZG Outlander in November 2007. An update with a bolder, corporate grille and mechanical upgrades including a more refined S-AWC on-demand all-wheel drive system for V6 versions (four-cylinder versions continue with the previous system) and hill-start for CVT and auto transmission models came in October 2009. The spacious Outlander offers a tiny third-row seat. The 162kW/276Nm 3.0-litre V6 supplements the regular 125kW/226Nm 2.4-litre four-cylinder. Stability control also gets a look-in. The range comprises the limited edition four-cylinder ACTiV, as well as LS and XLS, V6 VR and VR-X variants.
