R35 MY20 Premium Coupe 2dr DCT 6sp AWD 3.8TT The car dubbed Godzilla in its first incarnation in the late 1960s (which didn't come here) is now in its sixth, R35 generation, which remains basically the same since its arrival here in 2009. The formula is familiar: A monumental 3.8-litre twin-turbo engine producing either 419kW/632Nm in the "base" version or 441kW/652Nm in the stratospherically expensive, carbon-ceramic-braked Nismo, an intriguing AWD driveline that sends power first to a rear transaxle, then diverts it back to the front, and a tight four-passenger cabin that holds passengers in place as the car catapults forward with unbelievable speed. Never to be taken lightly, the Nissan GT-R is a truly wild beast.
