And, even though new car sales in Australia are down, the X-TRAIL is as popular now as it was when it first arrived in all of its boxy glory all those years ago. Today, the all grown-up X-TRAIL is safer and more well-equipped than ever, but is it enough sizzle to beat its Mazda and Toyota rivals on the sales charts? Well, not yet.
