982 MY18 Boxster GTS Convertible 2dr Man 6sp 2.5T The mid-engine, two-seat Porsche Boxster convertible/Cayman coupe 718 series made a dramatic switch to 2.5-litre four-cylinder turbo power in 2016, providing more separation from the iconic six-cylinder, rear-engined 911. Producing 220kW/380Nm in 2.0-litre form and 257kWE/420Nm in 2.5-litre S form, the 718 series Porsches acquire a quite-different character to the six-cylinder Porsches yet they are seriously fast, more economical and cleaner, and beautifully balanced. The engine note is initially less smoothly melodic than the six-cylinder, but everything settles down once revs are applied and the chassis is supremely settled at all times. Transmission choices include a six-speed manual, or a PDK dual-clutch seven-speed automated manual.
