The Panamera four-door sedan carries the Porsche mystique into new territory by combining four-passenger stretching space with supercar dynamics. The rear-drive, front-engined super sedan offers a range of powerplants including a base 184kW/550Nm 3.0-litre turbo-diesel V6, a 309kW/520Nm 3.0-litre turbo petrol V6, a 228kW/400Nm 3.6-litre petrol V6, a 324kW/520Nm 4.8-litre petrol V8, a 3.0-litre petrol V6-based hybrid and the thundering 382kW/700Nm 4.8-litre Turbo. Claimed fuel consumption rises to no more than 10.7L/100km in the 4.8-litre V8 and drops to an anything-but-supercar figure of 3.1L/100km in the hybrid. All models except the eight-speed hybrid and diesel use a seven-speed auto.
