With the Preve, Proton has stepped up to the mark and garners the five ANCAP stars everyone has been waiting for. So you can cross that elephant in the room off the list. As with the Persona, the chassis has been well tuned for good ride and handling. There is an impressive list of standard equipment that runs from aircon to powered mirrors and a split fold rear seat that accesses the cavernous 508-litre boot. Connectivity is now up to par with Bluetooth, iPod and a USB port. There's a five-year/150,000km warranty with five-year roadside assist and capped price servicing.
