MY19 Laramie RamBox Utility Crew Cab SWB 4dr Auto 8sp 4x4 855kg 5.7i With locally-converted American utes from RAM and Harrison F-Trucks (Ford) now joined in the Australian market by HSV's Chevrolet Silverado pick-up, It seems we are about to become more familiar with massive US dual-cab trucks. The RAM 1500 range of workhorse utes comes in base Express and up-spec Laramie levels, both using a 291kW/556Nm normally-aspirated 5.7-litre petrol V8 driving through a eight-speed auto gearbox to an on-demand, dual-range 4x4 system. Towing capacity is a mighty 4.5-tonnes. At base Express level, the equipment is minimal " air-conditioning, cruise control and Bluetooth; the Laramie brings sat-nav, leather trim, heated seats front and back and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto functionality.
