DT MY24 Limited RamBox Utility Crew Cab SWB 4dr Auto 8sp 4x4 701kg 5.7i Available in two models, the RAM 1500 maxi-ute is powered by a 3.0-litre inline six-cylinder turbo-petrol engine producing 313kW and 635Nm and driving a dual-range 4x4 system through an eight-speed auto gearbox. Like its bigger RAM 2500 sibling its 879kg payload is unimpressive - although that's partly balanced out by the fact that the RAM 1500 can tow loads weighing up to 4.5 tonnes. It doesn't have the sheer on-road dominance of the RAM 2500 but it's still substantially bigger, and pricier, than a regular workhorse ute. The overall dimensions help make for a cab with plenty of room to move.
