Overview
In a move to separate the XV from the Impreza it has been face-lifted to a state where there's less and less donor evidence. It's a one-engine model, but with six-speed manual or auto (CVT) transmission options - albeit with no low range, so it's no serious off-roader. Stylistically, with its distinctive alloys and paint/trim options, it is aimed at a younger market not traditionally associated with the marque. Standard equipment levels are high, with the likes of the multi-function display and reversing camera. They've also included a driver's knee airbag in the excellent safety line-up for a five star ANCAP rating.
