Toyota's Kluger is a big SUV for those who don?t need a heavy 4WD workhorse. Primarily an on-road wagon, it even offers the choice of front-drive or all-wheel drive so buyers are better able to address their priorities. Kluger's gutsy 3.5-litre V6 produces 201kW and 337Nm of torque, driving through a five-speed auto. The bigger second-generation Kluger now offers a seven-seat option to make it a serious family conveyance. All models from the base KX-R upwards have front, front side and curtain airbags, stability and traction control, hill-holder, reversing camera, alloy wheels, air-conditioning and cruise control.
