Overview
Introduction in 2007, the Eos 'wowed' with its innovative totally retractable top which contained its own sliding sunroof. Just the thing needed after the Golf cabriolet was dropped. Powered by either a rorty turbocharged petrol or gutsy turbodiesel, it covered all bases. The new model continues in the same vane, but with the loss of a manual transmission option and the addition of heated leather seats (actually introduced late in the first model run). External styling presents a more corporate nose and LED tail light treatment. Interior changes are minimal, with a more than fair share of safety and comfort features.
