Volvo's V70 AWD Wagon is a relatively large vehicle at 1995kg. The trusty 3.0-litre petrol turbo-six has been improved for 2011, now delivering 224kW/440Nm and better economy at 10.2L/100km through the six-speed Sports Automatic. The two-tier model line-up consists of the T6 and T6 R-Design. It boasts a good load capacity, a new "dynamic chassis" and Volvo's raft of standard safety equipment. This includes an adaptive cruise control/collision warning system, DSTC, improved SIPS, seat belt pre-tensioners all round, dual stage front airbags, plus side and curtain airbags.
