I would like to thank you all as we have now sold the car and are very satisfied with the result.
Selling a car privately is a real mine field and has now opened my eyes on what crap people have to deal with due to a minority of people going about the purchase of a car in a less than moral way. I found that the scam emails were pounced on quickly by Carsales which did help me as a new user. Also I had two people place a deposit on the vehicle and did not conclude the sale for very stupid reasons.
Anyway, if asked by any family or friends what is the best way to sell a car I will highly recommend www.carsales.com.au as their first and only choice for on-line car sales. Thank you all once again.
