Selling a car privately is a real mine field and has now opened my eyes on what crap people have to deal with due to a minority of people going about the purchase of a car in a less than moral way. Amazing, I put my car up at 8pm and it didnt register until about 11pm on the 5th August. By 10am the following morning the site had been hit 100 times and I had received 3 offers and was sold. Thanks to carsales I was able to sell my car with minimal fuzz, the thing that I really liked about carsales is that if someone contacted me about the car and had seen it on carsales you REALLY knew they were genuine buyers and not just tyre kicker's who were just shopping around for a car. Just wanted to let you know that we sold our Commodore this morning after being on your website for only 10 days. We had previously tried E-bay without success. Our buyers traveled 7 hours from country NSW to Sydney to check on some preferred cars listed on your website - ours was the last one on their list. We negotiated an agreeable price and they drove back home the same day - happy with a great car, great deal, and a hassle free sale.
Thank you for providing this terrific internet service to both Sellers and Buyers - being able to provide photos on the website is a definite PLUS also.
