This Jaguar is an original MK 2 Sedan 1961 3.8 Manual that came from South Africa in October 2016.
I purchased this vehicle from my cousin and know all about the total restoration in 1997 and quality of the vehicle and build - hence the purchase. All details are available if requested.
This beautiful car has won two awards in the ‘Con 2’ category in both Australia and South Africa. It is also “Heritage Listed’ and licensed through the Jaguar Car Club of WA and insured through Shannons of Australia for $80K.
The car is Positive to Earth. It also has overdrive on 4th gear only, with upgrades to the vehicle, all Jaguar parts, as listed below. The car is in excellent condition and has been professionally maintained, serviced and restored when required. All details of upkeep available. This car is mechanically sound and can be driven anywhere straight away and competition ready. Although the car has some slight rust starting to show (and is therefore down priced), in my opinion, you will not find a more beautiful and ready to enjoy car for many years, without having much work to do, or money to spend. The positives for this car will convince most buyers.
I can offer Roadbend Motors & FMJ Automotive of Perth as professional references for this vehicle, as they have done all the necessary upgrades and total maintenance. This car has been nursed like a much loved baby and been kept in a lock-up garage and under cover it’s entire life.
Includes:
• The car has the complete original boot tool kit , wheel spanner and jack. Original and complete tool kits are rare and therefore very valuable.

• Fitted 2” SU carburettors and therefore includes upgraded Jaguar S Type air filter. Originally fitted with 13/4” SU carburettors.
• Jaguar D Type wood rim steering wheel.
