1965 Daimler 2.5 Litre V8 Saloon – Rare Early Model - Matching Numbers Car.
A beautifully presented and very desirable early Daimler 2.5 Litre V8.
Jaguar's Mk II has long been regarded as one of Britain's great classic sports saloons, but its rarer Daimler sibling offers something rather special. Powered by Daimler's renowned 2.5 litre V8, the Daimler provides distinctive styling, excellent character and a wonderful V8 soundtrack.
This is an early 1965 model, correctly badged 2.5 rather than the later 250. It features the desirable early-model specifications including Jaguar Mk II bumpers, single air cleaner and timber-topped dashboard.
The car presents very well, with a beautiful deep blue/grey exterior, excellent brightwork and attractive chrome wire wheels. The black interior remains in very good condition, with lovely black seats, matching door trims and black carpets.
