The TRIUMPH TR6 (1971) is an honest CLASSIC SPORTS CAR with reasonable grunt (esp fuel injected model).and PERSONALITY !.-- all conveyed in it's DRIVE - as any owner will attest. My car was imported from California, USA in April 1999. It was a Mocha brown convertible with LHD - with very minor body rust - . First owner spent over $7,000 with General Sporting Automotive - engine (stripped down and many parts replaced/machined , gearbox,shock absorbers,brakes,steering,wheel bearings,shafts,mounts,etc - INVOICES available. The second owner spent over $2,000 with The Roadster Factory (USA) - retractable seatbelts,gaskets,hoses,mirror kit,door handles body seals,guages ,cables, 'hot' spare camshaft , second gearbox etc. - INVOICES available. Original seats PLUS Mazda MX5 seats as new (headrest with radio),,Boot Rack,,ignition parts, Fuel Injection System (needs reco),new SS CHASSIS ( or restored ? ), Chrome Twin Exhaust system - from exhaust to muffler and tailpipes (new), SOFT TOP ( needs reco,) -- too many spares to list -- many photos available. Require carpet and some interior cabin trim ( available but 'tacky') etc. '. Engine and gearbox installed - but 'poorly' - some work done by 'Mechanic' - who needed more 'work' than this dear little car..
ENGINE oiled and can be turned over by hand. I have no spare time to complete the conversion of this sweet car. You need MECHANICAL skills to complete the project - but the reward will be worthwhile !. I'll be then looking for a new partner - with a roadworthy. - such is life. PLEASE NO DREAMERS. .
