Bought by my grandparents in 1979 this Gemini has been in our family since new. It is a 1978 model TD SL , 1600cc, 4 speed manual. The car presents very well for its age and has been running well until recently parked up. It is a very original, honest car. A nice colour way of external silver and maroon vinyl interior. The interior has held up very well and I still have the original steering wheel in excellent condition. There is the patina of age with some dash cracks and some small rust spots in the boot and lower door panels but no major rust anywhere. I have recently stripped the carburettor and cleaned it, replaced the thermostat, installed a new intake manifold gasket and flushed /refreshed the coolant. The car will need some more attention to get going - I just no longer have to time. Happy to chat about the car. It is a nice, classic example of a Aussie motoring history - hoping it can find a good second owner!
