Up for sale is my 351 1982 XE Falcon Ute.
Hardest Decision I've ever Had to make!
I've owned this old girl for 20 years, Unfortunately, life, other projects, and a complete lack of spare time, mean it's time for someone else to take the wheel.
The rego ran out about a year ago and every time I looked at it, I told myself, "I'll get to it next weekend." About 52 weekends later, here we are.
No, it's not a factory V8. But let's be honest, that hasn't stopped anyone from smiling when they hear it fire up.
The Good Stuff:
351 Cleveland V8
3-speed auto
Twin exhaust
Fairmont Ghia interior ( dash, doortrims ect...)
Full red interior (seats, Seatbelts and Carpet)
Straight LPG/Gas
12-slot wheels
V8 tailshaft
Lowered
Front skirt included
Engine & Driveline:
Runs and drives well
Mild 351
Edelbrock manifold
Extractors
The Honest Bit: It's a Ford, so yes, it has rust in all the places Ford thoughtfully designed to collect it.
Lower door skins
Bottom sills
Driver's floor pan
Front floor of the tub and a few other usual XE spots
The passenger-side rear quarter panel has had a disagreement with something solid at some point and came off second best. Other than that, the body is reasonably straight.
What You're Buying:

What It Doesn't Come With:
Rego
RWC
My permission for your wife to ask, "Do you really need another project?"
This is a very regretful sale. If I had more time, more shed space, and less common sense, I'd be keeping it.
