Unique specification 6er. A true drivers car, with dog leg manual. Originally a UK car so it has the high compression M30 with no emissions control. Houndstooth cloth interior. Shadowline exterior trim (no chrome).
Eibach lowering springs with Bilstein dampers and uprated bushes means it handles well and has no problems keeping up with more modern performance cars.
If you're looking for a faultless concours example this isn't the car for you. If you're looking for a highly usable 80's GT that is still rewarding to drive, this might be.
I've owned this car since 2008. It has had regular maintenance. Rowell & Serle rebuilt the gearbox some years ago, which was about a $7k job from memory. I've rebuilt the LSD. Brake hoses and brakes were rebuilt a few years ago to do the Prima Tour day of the Adelaide Rally.
A couple of new projects means sadly it's time for someone else to enjoy this car.
