The original owner used this car as a daily driver and a Targa car. He meticulously maintained it and refurbished it after every Tasmanian Targa, and I have regularly serviced it since I became its second owner 17 years ago.
I have never tracked it and have hardly driven it because I own five other cars.
It has had significant brake and suspension upgrades and drives beautifully because the original seats were removed, which has reduced the weight. The weight was the only minor criticism that was ever made of this, the last of the hand-built BMWs.
The engine was replaced at 77,000 kms due to a warranty issue, and there are too many spares to list, including wheels, a rear differential, an exhaust system, and the original seats.
There are some very minor cosmetic scratches, and I will fit new tyres as specified by the purchaser.
