Car is a 1997 genuine 9000 Aero. It's currently on a club permit which is not transferrable.
Happy to take reasonable offers.
Auto. Silver metallic with a black interior. It has fairly high KMs (250K) but had a full engine rebuild at around 180k (by a reputable Saab specialist) with a brand new genuine Saab TD04 turbo fitted at the same time. Had a LOT of work done (read on). With its tune and Bilstein shocks it drives very very nice and feels like it's on rails.
Comes with original books and regular service history. Two keys.
Interior is in excellent condition and the Aero seats are amazing!
This car is fully optioned including some rare options as follows:
* Full woodline option (steering wheel, door caps, vents and rear ash tray).
* Genuine Saab 9000 Harman Kardon sound system (speakers, amp).
* Centre arm rest
THE GOOD (have all of the receipts)
* Full engine rebuild at around 180K;
* Brand new genuine Saab TD04 turbo and new turbo lines fitted at the time;
* Tuned to suit the rebuilt engine with the new turbo. Some might call it 'Stage 1' but all it means is that it has no lag and is very smooth and quick.
* Gearbox had new front pump fitted;
* All new engine and gearbox mounts;
* Bilstein B4 shocks all around;
* Front and rear suspension poly bushes;
* New genuine Saab (Sanden) A/C compressor;
* New genuine Saab fuel pump;
* New starter motor;
* Genuine Saab 9000 towbar (not an aftermarket hackjob);
* Darkest legal Octane window tint;
* New genuine Saab heater core in full metal (no longer available);
* Original floor mats;
* NOS ignition cassette;
* New hoses, etc, etc, etc;
* Various spares (rear bumper, bonnet, etc);
* There would be other more minor stuff or things done that I've forgotten.
THE BAD
* None
THE UGLY
* Driver's seat is not bad but not perfect;
* Usual nicks and scuffs for a 26 old car;
* Front wood door caps have a couple of cracks;
* Front spoiler lips has scuffs and rash. Rear bumper has some white paint on the side (will rub off);
* Dash top has a tiny crack in the corner and middle front edge;
* Wheels have gutter rash on the edges.
