Following an extensive 2023 restoration (see below for details), this car is a reliable and engaging drive with plenty of shove from the 4.4 litre Vanos engine.
As the car had been extensively restored in 2023, the car was bought for several forthcoming weddings. In travelling 10k kms since the restoration, the car has been flawless and serviced properly. Last serviced by BMTech in Dec 2025 and complimented by Carl as the best E38 they have seen in quite a while.

Mechanical:
Exterior: New windscreen; Re-painted bonnet, boot and roof due to come clear defects on the roof; New grill; New OEM headlight washers x 2; 4 x new Kuhmo PS71 tyres; Set of used staggered Style 37 M-Parallels; windscreen cowl trim (new); New chrome outer window trims; Headlights and tail lights polished; Alpina front lip; Paint correction and PPF on front 1/4.
Interior:
Refurbished front seats and rectified all electrics; Second hand working head unit; New stage 1 airbag M-Tech steering wheel and buttons; Carpets shampooed; Interior leather cleaned and fed; New OEM headlining; New coded key; Dashboard cluster pixels repaired; All speakers replaced; New sunroof motor and guides; Seat twists repaired; Chrome interior pieces replaced
