A unique opportunity to own a piece of Ozzy Holden history
On offer is my immaculately presented one owner,6spd man, LS1 5.7V8 VU SS UTE with 99800 km's on the clock.
After much debate and reluctance, it's time to move it on and allow someone else to enjoy this great icon of Australian motoring history. My partner also suggested, its Her or the Ute, tuff choice!
About the car;
Its original, except for a few tasteful upgrades as listed below.;.
More importantly, it's been babied and serviced by reputable mechanics since day one of it's life, whatever needed doing was done and as a non-smoking, mature aged owner, it's always been driven with respect.
The upgrades were completed to improve the overall efficiency and performance of the car.
The HSV Coulson bucket seats and interior were completely re-upholstered purely for comfort and aesthetic reasons.
Other than the odd country run, weddings and other special events, the car has effectively been in long term dry storage for 4-5 yrs, presently and for the past 2yrs, it's been the garage Queen at our home in Geelong.
A Major service was completed at the start of 2025 which included, "ALL Fluids" diff, gearbox, brakes and the coolant.
Upgrades' included,
Alloy VCM cold air induction, performance timing chain, new valves, seats & guides, mild cam, new 2"1/2 inch cat back exhaust (100 cell cats), and ceramic coated extractors installed. The Diff was totally rebuilt by Geelong Diffs using Timmons bearings/seals. New brake pads were fitted to the new slotted rotors and a new battery.
The leather interior with matching stitching completed 2022.
Lastly, when all the motors internals were finished and the exhaust was put on, i had the ute tuned/dyno'd, a print out is available. It also has a factory sunroof which i had installed. The ute runs & handles faultlessly & the suspension is as tight as a drum and handles like it should.
It's now eligible for club permit as well, making it a more affordable option.
