If you are looking at this ad, you would be aware that this is a collectable classic high-performance Mercedes AMG being one of only 6000 manufactured between 2002 and 2005 , world wide.
It is powered by a 3.2L supercharged, legendary M112 motor, which was hand built by AMG with upgraded forged crankshaft, pistons and conrods, modified cam and re-mapped motor, with higher performance and reliability, and fitted with a high-flow exhaust system, putting out 354HP (260 Kw ) with 450 Nm torque resulting in impressive 0-100k in 5.2 seconds.
It is mated to a 5 speed Speedshift automatic gearbox, with a sports mode, the same used in the SLR McClaren and V12 Mercedes and the suspension is upgraded with stiffer springs , roll-bars and shock absorbers and lowered 30mm - giving it an aggressive stance and a balanced ride at any speed. To handle all this performance the car is fitted with 13.6" Brembo 4 spot calipers with cross drilled and double -vented discs at the front and 11.8" vented discs at the rear and it has the more accurate rack-and -pinion steering rather than the usual recirculating ball steering.
Wheels are AMG 5-double spoke mags fitted with high performance Michellin Pilot Sports tyres giving a very smooth but firm ride and having excelllent wet and dry weather control. Comes with a matching AMG alloy spare wheel.
The car is a Q-car that can be used as a daily drive but when you put your foot down, the supercharger instantly spools up and releases seamless power taking your drive to another level. This 24 year old car is still a challenge to many current day sports sedans costing 4 times as much.
SAFETY FEATURES:
This car has driver, passenger and side airbags combined the Mercedes rigid passenger frame with impact absorbing front and rear chassis crumple-zones and doors fitted with side intrusion bars. It has ABS braking , EBD electronic break-force distribution, control systems and ESP Stability Control, providing an impressive level of safety for its day and still meets current standards.
OTHER FEATURES
This car has very comfortable Nappa Leather seats, the front having electric adjustable and heated seats, power windows, an electric tilt-sunroof, rain sensor wipers, front and rear climate control air-conditioning, cruise control and remote central locking.

ASKING PRICE
These AMG C36 cars are becoming more scarce and are collectable and from CARSALES data, original unmolested cars with log books are holding their price between $ 25- 35,000 depending on condition and milage.
I own a number of classic and collectable sports cars and as I am now retired and downsizing my collection, I believe the $ 25,500 asking price is fair and reasonable given the cars heritage and condition- but open to reasonable offers. I hope who ever buys it appreciates what a great car this is.
