Rare Supercharged Mini Cooper S Convertible JCW
Selling our much loved 2007 build (MY05) Cooper S Cabrio. This was the very last of the 1600cc supercharged Mini’s before they changed to turbo. The hardtop models changed in 2005, but the convertibles retained the supercharger until 2007. Factory John Cooper Works (JCW) variant with 6 speed manual gearbox provides incredible performance, however it has been driven by mature drivers and not abused.
Has been meticulously cared for and regularly serviced, including full supercharger service whilst we have owned it. It originally had the Harmon Kardon audio system installed, however these were problematic with age and not easily upgraded for modern features such as Carplay etc. We have had the entire Harmon Kardon system professionally removed and replaced with a matched Sony system, including speakers and wiring. The centre console was expertly modified to allow the double height head unit to be installed whilst retaining the full original appearance. It sounds as good as it drives with full Carplay/Android support, including factory steering wheel controls and integrated reverse camera.
Chrono pack with speedo and tacho in front of steering wheel with classic Mini centre console gauges. Expandable boot opening (soft-top can be lifted up as well as lowering the tailgate) to get larger items in and out. Cruise control, Aircon (including glovebox chiller) and all other features in perfect order. Interior and exterior presents exceptionally well. 4 x near new run flat tyres + 5th tyre as a spare to come with vehicle.
Mini enthusiasts will appreciate the condition and work that has gone into this vehicle. Regretful sale however we have just become grandparents and need something more practical to enjoy this next stage of life.
