The A4 is Audi's volume seller, going head-to-head with BMW's 3 Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class. It differs in two major ways: it is widely front-wheel drive, and is the only car in its class to offer all-wheel drive. The current A4 arrived her in April 2008 with a bigger cabin, more refinement, improved handling and extra standard equipment. Engine choices include two petrol four-cylinders, three turbodiesels - two-litre four-cylinder, 2.7-litre and 3.0-litre V6 ? and a 3.2-litre petrol V6. The 147kW/280Nm 2.0 TFSI is available with Quattro all-wheel drive and 6-speed manual or S tronic transmission.
