Overview
Audi's original 1999 TT recalled the glory days of the legendary Auto Union rear-engine racecars from the 1930s. So appealing was the original TT that many people saw it and immediately fell in love. The current version came in 2006, subtly altering the snub style to create a bigger and better, but instantly recognizable, TT. Still available as a two-plus-two coupe or convertible, the TT comes as either a 147kW/280Nm turbo four or, as an all-wheel drive Quattro 184kW/320Nm 3.2-litre V6 - the latter with 6-speed dual-clutch transmission and the former, in coupe form, offering an optional 6-speed manual.
