Selling for my mother who is in her 70s and only drives it into town once a week, and no longer needs it.
Mechanically excellent, with very recent Roadworthy certificate, Greenslip and 1 year rego purchased just this month (expiry October 2027). Battery was replaced around one year ago (August 2025), brand new spark plugs this month, and 3 near new tyres. Car has been regularly maintained/serviced, with log book and all records.
Exterior is in excellent condition, with paint showing absolutely no signs of fading. Still looks shiny, and we haven't even bothered to wash it properly or use any wax or polish prior to taking photos!
There is a scratch and some slight scuff marks to the lower left side of the bumper, but I would only consider this minor cosmetic damage (up-close photos provided). There is also one very tiny dint, about the size of a 20c piece that can likely be suctioned to remove. Checking with the mechanic about this on Monday. No other scratches, dents etc to the car. Exterior/paintwork is otherwise perfect.
The headlights are a little cloudy/foggy, as you can tell from the photos. There are DIY Restoration Kits you can purchase, which will restore the clarity to the headlights, or you can also purchase brand new replacement headlight units for around $150. This would honestly make the outside look like a near new car.
Seats/upholstery are in good condition. Some very minor marks that I think would come out with some a carpet/upholstery foam cleaner or shampoo, or a trip the the detailer. We just haven't tried to clean them ourselves.
The main cosmetic thing to note — and the reason I've priced the car well under market value — is the exposed parts of the dash, primarily around the air conditioner vents (see photos) shows significant signs of ageing and cracking. Please refer to photos. Apparently that happens with this specific model of car, but at least is only cosmetic and the dash cover/mat covers most of it. You can prevent this from getting much worse by using an interior protectant to replenish surface barriers (we should have done this to stop it from occurring in the first place, but sadly did not).
Cruise control, front and rear power windows, remote central locking, bluetooth capabilities and Satellite navigation (GPS) all work perfectly.
This car has 6 airbags (driver, side and passenger) fitted for your protection with an ANCAP safety rating of 5 (the highest rating awarded) and ABS brakes.

Would make an excellent first car or affordable small car option for just about anyone!

Mazda#s latest generation #3# builds on the success of its predecessor with a lineup including Neo, Maxx, Max Sport and SP25 models. The base 2.0-litre four now produces 108kW/182Nm driving through a six-speed manual transmission or sequential-shifting five-speed auto. The new Mazda3 is more refined and roomier, and is available in five-door hatch and four-door sedan configuration. All models have stability control, ABS, dual front airbags, active front headrests, air-conditioning and trip computer. From Maxx onwards, front side and full-length curtain airbags are standard. The 2.5-litre SP25 offers 122kW/227Nm and offers the choice of manual or auto transmission.
