Overview
Changes to the VE Series II V Calais are minimal, but worthwhile. Notably the interior has been given a more modern luxury feel via a tri-colour treatment, and the new iQ system, noted for its audio capabilities and the SUNA "Live Traffic Information' system is accentuated by a horizontal strip separating it from the climate controls. The re-configured petrol (E85 compliant) 3.6-litre V6 now produces 210kW/360Nm and 9.8L/100km through the six-speed 'Sports Auto' and 19-inch alloys. The complete list of safety features includes ABS, stability/traction control, brake assist and six airbags, making the five-star ANCAP rating appropriate.
