Selling my one-owner Volkswagen Eos as I’m moving on and no longer need the car. I don’t have the time to organise the repairs, so it is being sold as-is, with no roadworthy certificate supplied. The asking price reflects the repairs and maintenance needed.
The roof is currently closed and watertight, but does not operate and displays a roof error message when activated. The cause has not been diagnosed, so buyers should make their own assessment of the repairs required.
The car has been kept clean and is in good overall condition for its age. There is a slit/dent in the rear bumper, and it is due for a service.

Introduction in 2007, the Eos 'wowed' with its innovative totally retractable top which contained its own sliding sunroof. Just the thing needed after the Golf cabriolet was dropped. Powered by either a rorty turbocharged petrol or gutsy turbodiesel, it covered all bases. The new model continues in the same vane, but with the loss of a manual transmission option and the addition of heated leather seats (actually introduced late in the first model run). External styling presents a more corporate nose and LED tail light treatment. Interior changes are minimal, with a more than fair share of safety and comfort features.
