Presenting my 2012 Audi A6 Quattro, an absolute motoring enthusiast’s machine.
If you’re reading this, you know exactly what makes this one of Audi’s finest models, their bulletproof 3.0L supercharged engine paired to their famous DL501 7 speed transmission supported by an impressive Quattro all-wheel drive platform.
This car is truly an experience to drive delivering all the power and grip as a daily driver then a comfortable cruiser for weekend country drives.
Originally purchased to be my garaged second weekend/project car to improve and fuss over during my spare time, this plan only worked for the short term with work commitments changing taking away the original spare time I had envisioned.
The car presents beautifully, the exterior and paint are in awesome condition, the comfortable interior presents well with the leather and dash all in great condition.
Let’s talk about the mechanicals.
The typical major service concerns of this car have already been addressed. Namely the mechatronic unit was completely serviced, and all 4 solenoids replaced, including the circuitry meaning the car shifts like brand new. For the new owner, Its now one of the major things that does not need any concern or have serviced.
Other preventative maintenance tasks completed where:
-Gearbox, front and centre diff oil changed
-Rear diff oil changed
-Both valve cover gaskets changed
-Front rotors and pads changed with Bosch and Brembo branded parts
The infotainment unit was replaced with an aftermarket apple CarPlay system that retains the factory folding screen functionality, and original car MMI.
This model includes a sunroof.
Although I have completed all of the servicing and preventative maintenance tasks for the current service interval, the car does have an intermittent coolant leak diagnosed as a coolant pipe by a specialist VAG independent mechanic.
The car is perfect for anyone looking to complete the remaining maintenance task, continue to keep up to date with the servicing and continue to drive it as their daily or weekend car.
Can will be sold with or without a RWC (Will assist interstate buyers) and includes nearly 10 months of registration.
Test drives can be arranged but need advance notice as the car is not driven daily and need to ensure the car is available to view.
