Finished in Moondust Silver, this well-presented 2012 Mondeo Mk4 Wagon has travelled just 56,800 kilometres from new and comes complete with full log books, service records, both original keys, sales receipts for recent maintenance, and all factory equipment.
Originally a Government Health Services fleet vehicle, the car spent most of its life in regional Western Australia, resulting in predominantly country kilometres. I've owned and driven the vehicle for the past year and have found it to be reliable, comfortable, economical, and practical.
The vehicle starts, drives, and operates exactly as it should. The air conditioning is ice cold in summer, warm in winter, and all factory features are functioning correctly.

Practicality
The Mondeo wagon is exceptionally versatile, offering a huge cargo area and fold-flat rear seats. Whether you're transporting work equipment, camping gear, bicycles, or family luggage, there's ample space.
The luggage area is large enough to comfortably accommodate two greyhounds, although this particular vehicle has not transported dogs during my ownership.
Condition
For a 2012 vehicle, the Mondeo presents very well. As expected for its age, there are a few minor stone chips, scratches, and cosmetic blemishes consistent with normal use. The vehicle has recently been cleaned, detailed, and machine polished.
Important Information
The transmission should always be serviced in accordance with Ford's maintenance schedule (b service schedule), including the scheduled transmission service requirements listed in the log books. Proper maintenance is key to the longevity of these vehicles.
With continued servicing and care, these vehicles are well capable of covering 300,000 km plus.

The LX wagon has recently received a revision of equipment levels. New features bring power front/rear windows, sliding cover for the centre console, passenger lumbar support, leather trimmed steering wheel, cruise control and Bluetooth connectivity across the range. For the load conscious, the wagon can offer as much as 2163 litres of space. The four-cylinder 2.0-litre Duratorq turbodiesel has been upgraded from 103kW/320Nm to 120kW/340Nm. A new 'Powershift' six-speed auto transmission improves performance, and importantly, fuel economy, which is quoted as 6.2L/100km. Safety features include six airbags, ABS, stability/traction control and electronic brake force distribution.
