Overview
The flagship Genki has recently been upgraded with more kit for less outlay. Added to the 16-inch alloys, sports body kit, and fog lamps are rain-sensing wipers, auto headlamps, single-zone climate control, cruise control and a multi-function trip computer. All Mazda2s are powered by a 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine which develops 76kW/135Nm. Gearboxes are a five-speed manual or four-speed auto. These return 6.4 L/100km and 6.8L/100km respectively. Safety features include stability/traction control and six airbags. Recent models have also been graced with upgraded suspension for improved ride quality.
