Selling only because three kids no longer fit in the back and I've since been given a work car. Nothing wrong with the Swift - its just surplus to a family of five.
Ideal for P-plater. It is super fuel efficient, cheap to run, and honestly beautiful to drive - light nippy and forgiving. Perfect car to learn manual properly in. Small enough to park anywhere, can attach a roof rack for weekend trips.
It's been my work car for the last 8 years as a mobile therapist, driving between client visits. That means two things: its done a lot of kilometres, and it has never missed a service. I couldn't afford to be stranded between appointments, so its been maintained on schedule the entire time with full logbook history with the exception of when the whole world went into lockdown.
Why its been a great daily driver:
- Genuinely economical - around 5.5-6L/100km on standard unleaded
- Nippy and easy to park - light steering, tight turning circle slips into gaps bigger cars can't. Stress-free in traffic and small carparks.
- Timing chain, not a belt - no big-ticket belt service hanging over the next owner
- Cheap to register, insure and tyre up
- 7 airbags and 5 star ANCAP rating.
Recently done: tyres replaced with last service April 2026 at 200 000 km. Last service mentioned passenger side steering rack likely to need replacing at time of next rego next year.
Registered until May 2027. Pink slip dated 24th April, 2026.
Being straight with you: it's a 14 year old car with high kilometres but it has been reliable and a joy to drive. It does have a dint in the boot which was present before I started driving it and a crack inside the boot from transporting equipment. No accidents, no warning lights. Mechanically in great condition.
Inspections and independent mechanical checks very welcome. Cash or bank transfer.
