Overview
Ford is rightly proud of its all-new, Australian engineered, Thai manufactured Ranger. It is every bit the modern truck, delivering excellent load and towing capacities with ride and handling approaching that of a modern sedan. Engines and transmission options are also modern world. Safety stands front and centre with a full compliment of airbags for most models (there are options and exceptions), the latest in chassis design and electronic safety gear. Although competition comes from all areas, it is well equipped to match, even exceed, them from the base model XL single cab/chassis 4x2 to the top-end Wildtrak 4x4 double cab.
