Ownership & History
I am the third owner and have enjoyed this car for the past 7 years. Throughout that time it has been fully serviced and maintained, including warranty work, by Porsche Centre Sydney South.

Warranty & Peace of Mind
The factory Porsche warranty has been extended and still has 12 months remaining, giving the next owner added confidence.
The warranty also covered the well-known door panel delamination issue, where the door card near the window can lift and distort. This was rectified in 2025 with brand new door cards, so the interior looks fresh again.
Tyres
Four Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres were fitted 11 months ago and have covered only approximately 2,000 km, so they have plenty of life remaining.

Overview
981 S Convertible 2dr Man 6sp 3.4i Similarly to the 991 series Porsche 911, the latest Boxster is lighter, with a longer wheelbase than its predecessor and offers more power from worked-over powerplants. The base 195kW/280Nm 2.7-litre horizontally opposed, mid-mounted six gets the Boxster to 100km/h in 5.7 seconds while the gruntier 232kW/360Nm 3.4-litre S version reaches that mark in 5.0 seconds. Transmission choices include a six-speed manual or a seven-speed PDK automated manual. Like the 911, the Boxster's extra length and wider tracks are all about handling rather than augmenting interior space - although it is up slightly. Also 911-style, the Boxster now gets electro mechanical power steering.
