JY GLX Hatchback 5dr CVT 7sp 1.6i Replacing the smaller but heavier multi-purpose SX4 hatch, Suzuki's appropriately-titled S-Cross entered the small crossover segment populated by the likes of Nissan Dualis and Subaru XV late in 2013. With either 2WD or 4WD, outstanding fuel economy, respectable performance, five-star safety and plenty of space, the S-Cross is a worthy participant in the segment. The engine is a 1.6-litre petrol producing 86kW/156Nm and claiming an impressive 5.8L/100km in 2WD CVT transmission form. A five-speed manual is available on the base GL; CVT is standard on GLX and GLX Prestige models.
