This car has only had 2 owners. The first owner sold it after a year and since then my wife has had the car always serviced on time.

Condition:
The car presents well in classic BMW Alpine White. It is in great overall condition for its age. Mechanically it is flawless. To be completely transparent with buyers, there are a few minor cosmetic marks:
Some light scuffs on the underside/bottom of the front bumper and the rear bumper (typical from everyday parking).A few minor, age-appropriate marks in the paintwork.
Aside from these, the car looks fantastic and drives like a dream. It has been loved, well-looked after, and is only being sold to make way for a change in family needs.
We’ve never had any problems with the roof (button controlled), and the cable was replaced under a factory recall about 2 years ago. We’ve also had booth window motors replaced in the last 2 years.

Overview
Based on the 1 Series five-door hatch, the 2 Series convertible is the most affordable soft-top BMW. With seating for four and a quick-folding fabric roof, the front-engine, rear-drive convertible brings the open-air BMW experience down to a more affordable level. All models have self-parking automated steering, lane departure warning, rear-view camera and "Collision Mitigation" low-speed crash avoiding technology. Powerplants include two 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbos producing 141kW/280Nm in base 220i form, and 180kW/350Nm as a 228i. Top gun is the 3.0-litre six-cylinder M235i turbo with 240kW/450Nm. Transmission choices, depending on model, include a six-speed manual and BMW's efficient eight-speed automatic.
