8X MY16 Sportback 5dr S tronic 7sp 1.0T The A1 is Audi's entry model but that doesn't mean it fails to espouse traditional values. The front-drive five-door mini hatch offers three engine choices, from a 70kW/160Nm 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbo, to a 92kW/200Nm 1.4-litre four-cylinder turbo in Sport variants to a feisty 141kW/250Nm 1.8-litre turbo in the A1 S Line. There are two transmissions: a six-speed manual or a seven-speed twin-clutch auto. Quality, on-road dynamics and standard equipment reflect up-spec Audis, with sat-nav, climate-control, heated seats, power sunroof, BOSE sound system and various styling, interior and suspension/wheels (up to 18 inches " all models get standard alloys) packages available.
