Overview
VF4 Series II Active Tourer 5dr Spts Auto 6sp 2.0i The mid-size i40 exists in tough territory. Not just due to the competition (Mazda6 and Subaru Liberty for example), but also the limited pickings available. It presents a strong case with its attention-getting style and enough technology " including a 100kW/320Nm 1.7-litre diesel variant with dual-clutch transmission " to keep customers interested. It's packaged well too, with plenty of space as a sedan or wagon and no shortage of available gear including sat-nav, self-parking, lane-change warning and adaptive HID headlights. Standard fare under the bonnet is a 121kW/203Nm 2.0-litre petrol engine hooked up to a conventional six-speed automatic transmission.
