Comments from the seller
We’re excited to introduce this Incredible 2017 Mercedes-Benz G350d in the stunning colour combination of Obsidian Black Metallic over Black Leather interior complemented by Brown Burr Walnut appointments and impossibly rare 7 SEATS. Affectionately known as "The G” is an automotive icon with military DNA, unmistakable presence and the sort of reputation that money alone simply cannot buy and with its upright windscreen, exposed door hinges and enormous spare wheel hanging off the back, it has the subtlety of a mafia boss arriving at a christening. It doesn't need ridiculous spoilers or aggressive body kits to get noticed. It simply arrives, and everything else in the car park suddenly looks like it belongs to the cleaning staff. Intimidating, sophisticated and effortlessly cool.
Under the Bonnet sits Mercedes-Benz's formidable 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 diesel, producing a muscular 600Nm of torque through the 7G-TRONIC PLUS automatic transmission and permanent four-wheel-drive system. With three fully locking differentials and genuine military heritage, this isn't some delicate luxury SUV frightened of getting its tyres dirty. It's engineered to conquer mountains, deserts and terrain that would have most modern SUVs calling roadside assistance.
Inside, things take a wonderfully ridiculous turn. What looks like an armoured personnel carrier for 7 occupants opens up to reveal beautiful Black Leather, heated and ventilated multicontour seats and a Harman Kardon sound system. It's like stepping out of a military tank and straight into the presidential suite at the Crown. The driving position is commanding, the craftsmanship exceptional, and the doors shut with the reassuring thud of a maximum-security bank vault. It's luxury with a backbone, and absolutely dripping in character.
Backed by a complete Mercedes-Benz Service History, this example furnishes the next lucky owner with the benchmark you'd expect and available for immediate delivery.

Overview
W463 d Wagon 5dr 7G-TRONIC 7sp AWD 630kg 3.0DT Yes, Mercedes-Benz still sells the angular, purposeful G Wagon, remarkably including the monstrously powerful 400kW/760Nm 5.5-litre V8 G 63 AMG top-shelf version. Being more reasonable, there's the "entry" G 350d version using a 180kW/600Nm 3.0-litre diesel V6 engine. The 35 years old Gelanderwagen remains a pretty basic off-roader. Three locking differentials and heaps of ground clearance help. Mercedes has said recently the G-Wagen still has some time left, saying in 2013 that there was at least a decade of life left in the venerable beast.
