If, like me, you think the Kluger is a bit of a mum car, think again. This ridiculously powerful engine is used by Lotus in its sports cars and the acceleration of the Kluger will leave you speechless - and I used to have a Mercedes SLK! The Kluger is great fun to drive.
I've just driven this car up from Melbourne to the Gold Coast to have it registered in QLD and the car is super spacious and comfortable for such a long drive - and I have a bad back. It's also surprisingly economical for its 3.5lt engine and the whole trip only cost me $450 with a quarter of a tank left over. Driving is between 7lt to 13 ltr per 100km for highway/city driving.
It does have slightly high mileage for the year, but it is a Toyota, whose engines comfortably reach 300,000kms. They're also incredibly solid and safe, making it a fantastic family car, and you'll see how cars move over for you when you're joining a highway.
I've just spent $4000 on a full service, upgrades and full detail with cut and polish and I'm in the process of upgrading the seats to black leather - nice!
The full service included:
A brand new battery; ($277)
New rim; ($440)
A new spare tyre; ($200)
Full detail with cut and polish ($449);
New control arms; ($500)
New driver's seat trim: ($330)
New headlight and fog light globes ($190).
Comes with a current roadworthy certificate and six months reggo until April 2027.
It's a 3.5lt, seven seater, automatic, which handles exceptionally well. Please note that this is an AWD whereas the majority for sale are only 2WD. Such a solid car also has great towing capacity for your holiday caravan or boat.
This car has been well maintained, is very neat and tidy and I've just invested a significant amount in her. She's already priced to sell, so reasonable offers only please.
