SA 2019.75MY Active Hatchback 5dr Auto 8sp 1.5T Ford's new Active crossover fits within the Focus range between the ST-Line hatch and wagon models. Essentially a higher-riding version of the regular Focus hatch " not the wagon " the Active, although espousing an adventurous lifestyle and featuring a "trail" drive mode for unsealed roads, is front-drive only. It is powered by the impressive 1.5-litre three-cylinder turbo that is universal across the new Focus range. The safety tech (autonomous emergency braking, lane-keep assist, pedestrian-avoidance) and eight-speed auto gearbox are shared with other Focus models. It comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, front and rear skid plates, adaptive LED headlights and changes to make for a tougher-looking front end.
