Initially available in front-drive 120kW/250Nm 1.3-litre GLA 200 and 165kW/350Nm 2.0-litre AWD 4MATIC GLA 250 form, with 225kW/400Nm 2.0-litre GLA 35 and 310kW/500Nm GLA 45 variants arriving from October 2020, the small Benz SUV is taller, bringing increased interior headroom, and also gets a slightly larger 435-litre boot. Safety is paramount: All variants come with autonomous emergency braking, pedestrian detection, blind spot assist with exit warning assistant, active lane keep assist, nine airbags, cross wind assist, PRE-SAFE accident anticipatory systems and traffic sign recognition.
